Vodacom looked to VML & YONDER to launch an interactive experience – built around the creative platform: World of Collectibles.

PROPOSAL

YONDER proposed an AR-based Digital Collectibles hunt, encouraging visitors of Vodacom World to go on a Pokémon GO-style hunt for virtual Vodacom prizes placed throughout the venue. Once visitors collected a certain number of these tokens they received a coupon, redeemable for real-world goods!

RESULTS

  • 50% increase in Vodacom World footfall
  • 10% conversion rate (visitor opting in to play game)
